Federation of Information Technology (Guarantee) Ltd (FITIS) held its 8th Annual General Meeting on 30th April 2025 at the Hilton Colombo Residencies.

During this Meeting the members elected Dr. Dayan Rajapaksa as the new Chairman of FITIS succeeding Indika de Zoysa who completed his 2-year tenure as Chairman.
Dr. Rajapakse is recognized for his contributions to advancing digital skills and innovation in Sri Lanka. Notably, he is the first individual to have served as both President of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL)(2014-2015) and now as Chairman of FITIS. He also serves as President of the Sri Lanka Association of Non-State Higher Education Institutes (SLANSHEI) and as Chairman and Managing Director of ESOFT Metro Campus.
