Sri Lanka's Kumar Danushan delivered a commendable performance on the first day of the Bangladesh Golf Tournament at the Kurmitola Golf Clubholding his own among a highly competitive field of over 90 top golfers from the region.

Displaying maturity and composure, Danushan negotiated the challenging course conditions with confidence, combining accurate tee shots with a steady short game. He ended on 14th overall with a score of 79.
