The Management Club Colombo appoints new ExCo for 2025/2026

THE Management Club Colombo appointed its new Executive Committee (ExCo) for the year 2025/2026 at the 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 22 July at 6 p.m. at Ebony Hall, Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo.

Duneeshya Bogoda was appointed as the first-ever Lady Chairperson of The Management Club (TMC) Colombo. She is a dynamic professional with over 15 years of entrepreneurial and private sector experience. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Second Class Upper Division Honours from the University of Kelaniya. A versatile entrepreneur and business consultant, Bogoda is the founder of several ventures, including Dunee’s Kitchen, DUNEEB (an online retail platform), VIP Counselling, and 4D Events.

Her association with TMC began in 2019. She was appointed Deputy Secretary of the TMC Colombo Executive Committee in 2020/2021, served as Acting Secretary in 2021/2022, and continued as Secretary for both 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. In 2024/2025, she assumed the role of Vice Chairman of TMC Colombo. She has also been a member of the TMC Board of Management since 2023.

Beyond her corporate and professional roles, Bogoda is actively involved in community service.

She has been a member of the International Lions Association since 2022 and currently holds the position of Vice President at the Lions Club of Colombo Ceylon Excellence. She is also a member of the Colombo Hash House Harriettes. A former national-level swimmer, she began competitive swimming at the age of seven and represented the Sri Lanka Navy in water polo.
