Kusal Mendis switches allegiance from PSL to IPL

SRI Lanka's wicket-keeper/ batsman Kusal Mendis who has been representing Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has switched allegiance and will appear for Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the play-offs.

It is learnt that Mendis is not too keen to travel to Pakistan for the remainder of the PSL due to apparent safety concerns and has decided to switch leagues and appear in the IPL for the first time.
