IASL hosts 16th NAFLIA Conference, driving growth in new world of insurance

THE Insurance Association of Sri Lanka (IASL), through its Marketing and Sales Forum, hosted the 16th consecutive NAFLIA Conference at the Monarch Imperial.

This landmark event continues to play a critical role in developing and recognising the professionalism of life insurance advisers in the country, reaffirming IASL's ongoing commitment to elevating industry standards and upholding excellence within the life insurance sector.

This year's conference was held under the theme "Drivers of Change: Driving Growth in a New World of Insurance". The event focused on the evolving role of life insurance advisers in a rapidly transforming industry landscape strengthened by technological advancement, shifting customer expectations, demographic changes, regulatory reforms and dynamic market trends. It was emphasised that agents must move beyond adaptation to lead transformative change, proactively embracing innovation, upskilling digitally and delivering customer-centric solutions to build trust and long-term impact.

Over 700 attendees participated in the event, including representatives from the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (IRCSL), members of IASL, CEOs of leading insurance companies, advisors, team members and other key stakeholders in the industry. The conference created a valuable platform for sharing insights, exploring challenges and collectively shaping the future of life insurance in Sri Lanka.
