Participants joined a guided hike to Dell Mountain restoration site, gaining first-hand insight into rich biodiversity the project seeks to protect and restore

The launch, held recently in Nuwara Eliya and Lindula, marks a significant milestone in ongoing efforts to protect the country’s threatened montane ecosystems. The project forms a key part of DPL’s ESG Roadmap 2030, which sets out its long-term sustainability commitments. Located on Dell Mountain within the Bambarakelle Estate in Lindula, the EcoPulse Cloud Forest Restoration Project spans 40 hectares (100 acres) in the Central Highlands. The initiative focuses on montane forest restoration, biodiversity conservation, watershed protection, and community awareness.
