Dialog and MDF renew partnership to expand Govi Mithuru with AI and inclusive farming solutions

DIALOG Axiata PLC has renewed its partnership with the Australian Government-funded Market Development Facility (MDF) to further enhance Govi Mithuru, its agriculture advisory service aimed at tackling key sector challenges and promoting inclusive, AI-driven, and sustainable farming practices across Sri Lanka.

Govi launched in 2015, was developed in response to widespread barriers faced by Sri Lankan farmers, including low productivity, high postharvest losses, and limited access to credible agricultural guidance.
The service offers timely, expert-verified information in Sinhala, Tamil, and English, covering Mithuru, over 32 crops, GAP certification, and future planning tools accessible via IVR and mobile app.
