ComBank shines with 4 CMA wins for Transparent, Ethical, and Governance-led Reporting

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has been recognised once again for excellence in financial reporting with four awards at the 11th annual CMA Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards 2025, underscoring the Bank's commitment to delivering transparent and insightful stakeholder reporting.

The awards ceremony, hosted by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka together with its Strategic Partner, the Colombo Stock Exchange, recognises excellence in several aspects of the Bank's 2024 Annual Report, titled 'In Context - from turbulence towards tranquility.'

The Bank secured the Gold Award for the Best Integrated Report in the Banking Sector, underlining the clarity, depth, and cohesion of its reporting across financial and non-financial dimensions.

Commercial Bank received the Gold Award for Best Disclosure on Materiality, a testament to its commitment to identifying and presenting the issues that matter most to stakeholders while articulating how these matters influence governance, strategy, and performance. The Bank also received an award for producing one of the Ten Best Integrated Annual Reports of the year.

Commercial Bank was named first runner-up and joint Silver Award winner in the overall category as well, reaffirming its strong standing in integrated reporting among leading Sri Lankan corporates.
