7th SSC Open International Rating Chess Championship in May at Matara

THE 7th SSC Open International Rating Chess Championship, organised by the SSC Chess Academy on behalf of the Chess federation of Sri Lanka (CFSL) and the World Chess Federation (FIDE) will be held from 1 to 4 May at the Grand Rockland Hotel, Matara.

The competition will be held for both male and female players in rated categories 1200-1500, 1501-1600, 1601-1700, 1701-1800 and above 1800. Unrated Category, Under 6, Under 7, Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 categories for boys and girls, Best Player (Over 50), Higher Education Sector Champio
