Woman is held after kids found dead in house

A WOMAN was yesterday being questioned on suspicion of murder after two children were found dead.

The bodies of two-year-old Meraj Ul Zahra and three-year-old Abdul Momin Alfaateh were discovered at a house in Stafford just before 7.30am.

Police said they had arrested a 43-year-old woman.

The deaths have been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct following earlier police contact, the force added.
