TWO masked robbers armed with an axe who tied up and threatened to kill a shopkeeper have each been jailed for more than seven years.

Ints Dombrovskis, 45, and Hugo Ignats, 42, looted PG Jewellery and Collectables in a £50,000 jewellery raid, stuffing watches, rings and necklaces into bags and their pockets.

The pair, carrying a long-handled axe, also pretended to have a pistol in a bag, pointing it at the shop assistant in her 20s.
