WAYNE ROONEY has accused Manchester United of losing their soul and insists he has no faith in Ruben Amorim's ability to turn things around.

In a withering attack on his former club, the United legend also insisted too many players in the squad are not fit to wear the shirt.

“I don't recognise the whole football club” said Rooney, who won five Premier League titles and the Champions League with United.

“T don't see players fighting. I don't see character. I don't see a desire to win. I don't see ability. I don't see match winners.

“Nothing gets me off my feet. I go into a game watching, expecting, ‘OK, here we go again’, expecting the team to lose or maybe pick up a point. This is not Man United.
