Star Wars fan Rahm buzzing

JON RAHM believes the force will be with Luke Donald's European Ryder Cup team in the USA after revealing he is a huge Star Wars fan.

And the Spanish superstar insists it will be "fun" to face the crowds at Bethpage Black in New York later this month.

Double Major champion Rahm needed a wild card to make a fourth Ryder Cup outing in a row, having defected to LIV Golf in December 2023.

"I did not think I was going to be as emotional as I feel right now," he said. "It's going to be special."

Rahm also showed a light side when speaking from his Arizona home with images of the big loves of his life on the wall behind him. There was the crest of his football team Athletic Bilbao, pictures of his wife Kelley and with Seve Ballesteros, plus an image of Baby Yoda.
