Data engineer held after tip-off by McDonald's staff
A MAN was being questioned by police last night over the assassination of American health insurance boss Brian Thompson.
Detectives said data engineer Luigi Mangione, 26, was arrested in Pennsylvania and had a gun similar to the one used to kill multi-millionaire Mr Thompson last Wednesday.
Officers said that they also discovered a silencer, mask, fake IDs and writings critical of the health insurance industry.
The firearm was believed to be a "ghost gun" - put together with parts sold online or manufactured from a 3D printer.
