'Suspect danced' following stabbing frenzy

A MURDER trial has been shown phone and CCTV clips said to show an asylum seeker dancing and drinking after allegedly inflicting fatal stab wounds on a hotel worker.

Prosecutors say it reveals Deng Chol Majek dancing, with the blue flashing lights of the emergency vehicles called to assist Rhiannon Whyte visible in the background.

It is alleged Majek followed Ms Whyte, 27, from Walsall’s Park Inn hotel to the Bescot Stadium station and stabbed her 19 times in the head with a screwdriver.
