Summer is coming ..so rain returns

THE sunniest spring on record goes out on a high today with balmy temperatures up to 27C - but the first week of summer will rain on that parade, forecasters say.

The start of the season tomorrow will be cooler, with conditions more unsettled next week.

Alex Burkill of the Met Office said: "Bit less sunshine on offer perhaps for some of us on Sunday, temperatures in many places will be several degrees lower.
