Strictly star is arrested after rape allegation

THE BBC's Strictly Come Dancing has been thrown into fresh crisis after one of its stars was reportedly arrested on suspicion of rape.

The man, who has not been named for legal reasons, has also reportedly been questioned by police over allegations involving “non-consensual intimate image abuse”.

The BBC confirmed on Saturday that there is an “ongoing police investigation”.

The Met Police investigation follows a BBC-led inquiry into claims of drug abuse by stars on the show.
