SOLANKE: I'LL MAKE UP FOR LOST TIME

DOMINIC SOLANKE has set his sights ‘on the World Cup and Champions League success after scoring on his first start in eight months.

The 28-year-old Tottenham striker had not been in a starting lineup since Spurs’ final game of last season at home against Brighton.

An ankle problem has dogged him since and required a minor surgical procedure and injections until the pain finally began to subside.

Solanke returned to the starting lineup on Tuesday night and bagged the second goal of the 2-0 win against Borussia Dortmund.

And he admitted the past eight months have been an emotional rollercoaster with his ankle issues appearing to ease, only to return.
