THE King and Queen were in perfect harmony, grinning broadly as they were treated to a festive performance by the Military Wives Choirs yesterday.
Charles, 76, and Camilla, 77, played host in the Music Room at Buckingham Palace where the singers, conducted by artistic director Hilary Davan Wetton, 80, were accompanied by musicians from the Band of the Household Cavalry.
The choir sang their latest single November Sunday, written for the King's birthday last month, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
Laughter
Members of the group then met the royal couple and joined them for a photo.
Earlier the Queen warned her guests to "hold on to their hair" as she attempted to flambe a 14-inch, 22lb Christmas pudding.
