Shackled migrants carried on to deportation planes

MIGRANTS resisting attempts to deport them are being put in leg restraints and carried on to planes, it has emerged.

High-risk deportees could have as many as four escorts - meaning a flight of 50 people would have 200 additional security staff.

The majority will board unaided, but about 10% require force from a "guiding hold" to waist - and leg restraints or handcuffs.
