Royal Family hailed for Gaza appeal support

THE King, the Queen and the Prince and Princess of Wales were yesterday praised for being so quick to donate to a group of charities working to get aid into Gaza and Lebanon.
The royals pledged privately to the Disasters Emergency Committee but were publicly thanked for doing so by the bodies involved.
Within 24 hours of its launch, the DEC Middle East Humanitarian appeal raised £8.8million.
