Rolls-Royce roars into life after Trump tariffs tumble

The FTSE 100 titan’s stock was up 1.6% to 1,250.50p yesterday morning, making it one of the top risers on the blue-chip index.

The Derbyshire-headquartered group, which is worth £105bn, has been hailed as one of the London stock market’s top stocks after gaining more than 100% last year.

But the firm has faced several hits from US President Donald Trump.

His latest trade offensive slapped sweeping 10% levies across the US’s Nato peers for their staunch defence of Greenland.
