British towns hit by return of 'Le Pong' from France
A CITY and nearby towns are blaming the French for a sudden rotten egg-like “horrible smell”.
In 2013, they experienced a stink dubbed Le Pong, which came from a chemical plant in Normandy capital, Rouen.
Now, many in Chichester, Bognor and Littlehampton, West Sussex, fear the Gallic whiff - dubbed Le Pong is returning and making some people feel sick.
