MICHAEL OLIVER should be stood down after the referee's "major error" for Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly's red card.

Former Premier League referees' chief Keith Hackett was damning about the performance of Oliver, below, and slammed VAR Darren England's decision not to overrule the sending-off.

Arsenal can appeal against the dismissal - and three-game ban - for Lewis-Skelly over the challenge on Wolves' Matt Doherty, but it has left the country's leading official at the centre of a storm.
