CHELSEA LOOKING PART AS PEDRO LEADS THE CHARGE

- By Mark Mann-Bryans

CHELSEA'S new-look forward line shone as Joao Pedro and Liam Delap hit the back of the net in an eye-catching friendly win against AC Milan.

The 23-year-old Pedro has now struck five goals in as many games for the Blues since joining from Brighton. His latest helped see off 10-man Milan in Chelsea's final warm-up for the Premier League season.

Pedro struck after Andrei Coubis’ own-goal, with fellow forward Liam Delap, right, coming off the bench to score either side of Youssouf Fofana’s consolation for Milan.

Skipper Reece James was pleased with the attacking talent at Enzo Maresca's disposal after a busy summer.

"To compete for titles you need competition," the fullback said.
