IAN Brady and Myra Hindley tortured and murdered five victims aged 10 to 17 between July 1963 and October 1965.

- By Chris Riches

The serial killers were in their 20s when they met. Hindley worked as a secretary and Brady was a store clerk.

Together they abducted youngsters around Greater Manchester and buried bodies on Saddleworth Moor.

The five victims were Pauline Reade, 16, John Kilbride, 12, Keith Bennett, 12, Lesley Ann Downey, 10, and Edward Evans, 17. At least four were sexually assaulted.

Brady and Hindley recorded the terrible moment they took Lesley Ann’s life — and also took pictures of themselves standing over some of the graves.
