Memory cop nails 3,000 suspects by facial recognition

MEMORY cop Andy Pope has snared more than 3,000 suspects by using mind-blowing facial recognition skills.

The super-spotter PCSO has a talent for remembering faces of those who are wanted over offences, including attempted murder and sex attacks, while on patrol in the West Midlands.

Crowded places are no barrier and he even picks out people in masks.

Andy, 47, averages one “spot” every other shift and has been known to pick out a suspect just by a mole.

He said: “It’s really hard to explain how I manage to remember and spot faces, as it just comes naturally.
