MCLAREN'S DRIVE WILL PUSH LIMITS

LANDO NORRIS has warned that McLaren are in for a “nervous” title fight this season with team-mate Oscar Piastri also gunning for glory.

But the British driver is adamant that the Woking-based outfit have a “huge advantage” by boasting two strong drivers pushing each other hard.

McLaren’s car is clearly the class of the Formula One field in these early weeks of the new season, after strolling to victories in Melbourne and Shanghai.

Norris and Piastri have won one each, the latter's victory on Sunday narrowing the gap to his team-mate to just 10 points.

And if both drivers keep up their championship charge then Norris can see them giving their McLaren bosses a few headaches along the way.

He said: “We were free to race in Australia and here in China, so I am sure we are going to have some closer racing at some point.
