Man guilty of being 'writhing' Somerset gimp

A MAN has been fined for harassing two terrified female motorists at night while dressed in a black gimp suit.

One feared they were about to be abducted after seeing Joshua Hunt in his strange skin-tight outfit.

When Hunt, 32, was arrested minutes after the second incident, he told police: "I am not a gimp, I do not own a gimp suit. I am not in a gimp suit." A motorist was driving home in Bleadon, near Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, on May 7 when she saw something moving on the ground.

She said: "He was writhing and crawling in a military fashion. I could see the person was wearing very tight, dark clothing and had a mask on.

"The mask was dark and very tight with two white crosses where the eyes should be. My first thought was it could be an abduction and the person was trying to get me out of my car.

"It was terrifying. The incident felt so surreal and I was questioning myself about what I was seeing.

"I believed it was an abduction. When I got home I was breathing heavily - a borderline panic attack."
