SHABANA Mahmood revealed her family was recently called “f****** p***s” as she branded Nigel Farage “worse than racist”.

The Home Secretary, inset, warned “anti-Muslim hatred” was “much more pervasive” than ever.

And she revealed her family was targeted by racist yobs during a visit to a park in Small Heath, Birmingham.

Ms Mahmood, speaking to Spectator editor Michael Gove hours after her Labour Party conference speech, said: “I think the levels of anti-Muslim hatred are off the charts. It’s at a scale I’ve never known in my lifetime.
