Lord Brittan widow's anguish as 'no one held to account'

THE widow of former Home Secretary Lord Brittan said yesterday her trust in the Met force and the police watchdog had been “severely undermined”.
Diana Brittan spoke after a probe was axed into an officer's handling of false claims her husband and others were in a VIP Westminster paedophile ring.
Tory Lord Brittan, 75, died of cancer in 2015, before it was announced there was no case to answer against him.
