Late pregnancy and weight 'add to cancer risk'

WOMEN who put on weight and have a baby later in life may be significantly more likely to develop breast cancer, research suggests.

UK experts discovered that a big weight gain after the age of 20, plus having a first child after 30 or not having children at all, meant women were almost three times more likely to develop the disease.
