KFC outlet is fined £70,000 for racial harassment over ‘slaveʼ jibe at worker

A KFC franchisee has been made to pay nearly £70,000 after a manager called an Indian worker a "slave" and forced him to work extra hours.

Madhesh Ravichandran began working at the West Wickham KFC, South London, for Nexus Foods Limited in January 2023 and was soon working more hours than required in his contract, a London tribunal heard.
