Kate's kind words for kids during mental health week

THE Princess of Wales tells youngsters that “kindness is key" as she visits a school for Children’s Mental Health Week.

With her warm blonde highlights shining in the early spring sunshine, Catherine, 44, clutched a posy and cards given to her by pupils at Castle Hill Academy in Croydon, South London.

She was there as the patron of Place2Be, a charity that provides one-to-one and group counselling for youngsters.

Starting at an outdoor play area, Catherine was told how it had Place2Be's therapeutic principles in mind. Then she moved indoors to the art studio, where children were making “belonging maps".
