'Karen' is borderline racist slur, says judge

CALLING a middle-aged white woman a “Karen” is “borderline racist, sexist and ageist”, a tribunal said.
The term for a female perceived as entitled or excessively demanding is pejorative, Judge George Alliott ruled.
Sylvia Constance, 74, claimed female Mencap bosses targeted her due to her race and age, and they acted “like the stereotypical ‘Karen’” having “'weaponised their privilege”.
