ARGENTINA'S junta had plans to make hundreds of British citizens “disappear” immediately before the Falklands War, CIA papers claim.

Military dictator Gen Leopoldo Galtieri plotted to massacre 500 Brits living in the South American country and more than 100 US embassy staff, then blame a home terrorist group.

The document, titled “Contingency plans for violence against US and British citizens”, was unearthed by Falklands historian Ricky D. Phillips and is dated 10 days after Argentina invaded the British islands in the South Atlantic on April 2 1982.
