Iran 'ready for a deal that's good for the US'

IRAN is seeking a nuclear deal with the US that offers economic benefits for both countries ahead of their next round of talks tomorrow, an Iranian diplomat has said.

US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to join the Geneva summit.

Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi left for the Swiss city after the first round of indirect talks took place in Oman last week. Similar discussions last year broke down after Israel launched what became a 12-day war on Iran, that included the US bombing Iranian nuclear sites.
