Dolly Parton dedicates new song to late husband Dean
DOLLY Parton has dedicated her new song If You Hadn’t Been There to her husband Carl Dean who has died at the age of 82.
The couple spent nearly six decades married, with businessman Carl largely remaining out of the spotlight as Dolly became a two-time Oscar nominee and 10-time Grammy winner as well as one of the biggest-selling US musicians.
The I Will Always Love You singer, 79, wrote: "Carl and I fell in love when I was 18 and he was 23, and like all great love stories, they never end.
