MARTIN Kemp has revealed his wife Shirlie told him after his jungle eviction: “You need a bath.”

Speaking to us from his five-star hotel, the popstar-turned-actor, 64, says: “I just stank of the campfire... the first shower was brilliant, and being able to take down your pants without anyone looking was superb.”

But Martin admits being apart from his wife of 37 years was one of the hardest things he has ever done. And when he embraced Shirlie at the end of the famous bridge, her first words to him were, “I love you”.
