Howe backs ex-Toon Anderson for England
Daily Express
|November 09, 2024
EDDIE HOWE is convinced Elliot Anderson is destined for an England call-up soon - despite Newcastle selling him for just £15million last summer.
The Newcastle manager celebrated three years in charge of the Geordies yesterday and admitted being forced to cash in on the 22-year-old is one of the painful moments of his rebuild.
The attacking midfielder faces his former teammates tomorrow in top form, with Forest only losing one game he has started this season.
