Hidden Hitler portrait emerges after 80 years

AN EXTRAORDINARY hidden portrait of Adolf Hitler that was taken from his office by a British Amy officer has been discovered 80 years later.

Capt Kenneth McKee accessed the Reich Chancellery in Berlin at the end of the war after bribing a Russian guard with cigarettes.

He made his way to Hitler’s private office and found documents left behind in the chaos.

They included papers bearing the dictator's signature, a 1934 Christmas card and a pen-and-ink sketch of what appeared to be a lively naval battle.
