AT THE start of the season you would not back Kai Havertz to save Arsenal from anybody.

Now he is saving the Gunners from themselves, with his fourth goal in seven matches finally settling their nerves against Brighton.

An arrowed late shot after a break on the left somehow found a path between Bart Verbruggen and the bottom corner, to make sure the dominant home side took the spoils and move back top of the league.

Last year Arsenal conceded the title to Manchester City because they could not get the ball in the net against Brighton at the Emirates, and were caught by three sucker punches.
