Germany kicks out 'chancer' claimants

A GERMAN court has ruled that two asylum seekers can be deported back to Greece - where they are welcome and can work with a roof over their heads.

Leipzig's Federal Administrative Court said it would not be inhumane or degrading for the men, one born in Gaza and the other in Somalia, to return.

Both claimants, in their 30s, were granted protection status in Greece - but this does not give them access to state support and they travelled to Germany.
