Gang of 12 drill rapping drug dealers jailed for 130 years

DRUG-DEALING gangsters who used drill rap videos to boast of their wealth and recruit children were jailed for a total of 130 years yesterday.

The 12 sold Class A drugs worth millions on an "industrial scale" across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.

They flaunted their luxury lifestyle in music videos featuring them spraying champagne from a Rolls-Royce and bragging about defending their turf with guns.

A total of 13 drugs lines, including one to Aberdeen, were later linked to the gang.

Nottingham Crown Court heard they flooded areas with heroin and crack cocaine, used knives and guns and recruited children to move and sell drugs.

They also used bulk phone messaging and sophisticated marketing techniques to advertise their county lines network to 1,400-plus customers.
