Fresh anguish for TV's Kate as husband Derek suffers 'massive heart attack'

KATE Garraway's husband has suffered a major heart attack which left him fighting for his life.

Derek Draper, 56, has been seriously ill since contracting Covid in the early days of the pandemic in 2020.

Good Morning Britain host Kate, 56, has cancelled all TV and radio work to keep a vigil at his bedside.

A source close to the family said: "Derek suffered a massive heart attack which has left him fighting for his life all over again.

"It was sudden and a shock as he had been doing well and was in great spirits, looking forward to Christmas.

"We just hope there will be some more positive news soon."
