DISGRACED former BBC news presenter Huw Edwards sexually assaulted a man on their second date at a VIP club, it is claimed.

The alleged victim, 27, says Edwards bragged that he "liked the danger of getting caught" when he grabbed him in the toilet.

Edwards, 62, is claimed to have met up with the unnamed man, 35 years his junior, for lunch at The Ivy in London's West End.

He claims Edwards aggressively groped him in January 2022 and said: "I was very shocked because it was in the open area.

"Anybody could have walked in. I asked him: 'Please stop.' But he just kept on saying: 'I like the danger of getting caught.' Then he said: 'I love you.'
