Driven out by neighbour's decade of loud music hell

A NEIGHBOUR from hell has been fined after hounding a 75-year-old gran out of her family home - by blaring out loud music for up to 10 years.

Nuisance Judith Harrison, 65, pumped up her stereo's volume, shouted, screamed and banged on the walls, doors and floors of her property, bringing misery to frail Irene Morrell next door.

The retired hairdresser only turned down the music when she entertained visitors but then ratcheted it up again later, Crewe magistrates were told.

Harrison was slapped with two community protection notices and fined twice by Cheshire East Council but this week she was hauled back to court after admitting she breached these numerous times between February 10 and April 24 this year.
