Don't make a meal out of tipping

ONE in five people admit they did not tip after a meal out in the past 12 months, with many citing financial struggles or simply forgetfulness.

Consumer group Which? found tip-ping habits across industries remain divided, with many service workers missing out altogether.

The survey of over 2,100 adults found that 46% said they had not given food delivery drivers a gratuity in the past year, and 34% admitted to never rewarding taxi or Uber drivers.

Those working in essential services were the least likely to benefit.
