BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU vowed to bring "a lot of energy and a tsunami of a crowd" to the US Ryder Cup team after his stunning Open fightback.

"We're tired of losing," the LIV Golf star said after he followed an opening 78 with rounds of 65, 68 and a closing bogey-free 64 to record the second lowest 54-hole total in Open history.

Already fifth in the US Ryder Cup rankings, his top-10 finish should seal his spot in captain Keegan Bradley's team.

Europe enjoyed a crushing win in 2023 so the USA and their vocal New York fans - will look for revenge in September.

DeChambeau said: "I hope I can bring a lot of energy and a tsunami of a crowd that's going to be rooting for Team USA.
