THE King has revealed his big Coronation weekend regret was being too far from the Windsor Castle concert performers.
The 74-year-old monarch told organisers of the event, which starred Lionel Richie and Take That, he wished he had sat closer or taken his binoculars.
He was speaking at a Buckingham Palace reception to thank those who arranged the Coronation weekend in May and the events after Queen Elizabeth's death last year.
Queen Camilla also hosted the reception and met the Bishop of Dover, Rt Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin, who had a ceremonial role at the Westminster Abbey occasion.
The royal party met Clare Balding who recalled the moment on Coronation Day that amused countless BBC viewers.
